- One-fourth cup chickpeas
- One-fourth cup lemon juice
- Half cup water
- A tablespoon tahini
- Half tablespoon gluten-free tamari or soy sauce
- One tablespoon chia seed or ground flaxseeds
- A tablespoon nutritional yeast
- Two cloves garlic
- Two teaspoons ginger-root, minced
