Sweet And Tangy Tahini: Have This!

  • 15 ounce can chickpeas
  • Half cup tahini
  • Three tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Two tablespoons Turkish or Syrian red pepper paste
  • One tablespoon pomegranate molasses
  • Kosher salt
  • Olive oil
  • Aleppo pepper
  • Warm pita bread

Do This!

  • Set aside two tablespoons chickpeas for serving.
  • Process tahini, lemon juice, red pepper paste, pomegranate molasses and remaining chickpeas in a food processor
  • Add water as needed, until hummus is very smooth then season it with salt.
  • Serve hummus drizzled with oil and topped.
  • Add Aleppo pepper and reserved chickpeas, with pita bread alongside.
